Colin Travis MCIP RPP -
President
A respected authority in the planning industry, Colin brings more than 25 years
of experience to the area. Colin’s extensive planning background began in the
1970’s as a planner for the Town of Oakville. He joined Blue Mountain Resorts in
1988 as Manager of Planning Services and in 1998 joined leading resort
developer, Intrawest Corporation as Director of Resort Planning and
Infrastructure. These positions provided invaluable experience and understanding
of all levels of municipal development, land use policy and infrastructure
approvals.
Colin’s active role in local community organizations enables him to stay
informed on many key developments. His current affiliations include Board of
Directors-Georgian Triangle Development Institute (Past President), member of
the Accommodation Review Committee and the Economic Development Committee for
the Town of Collingwood.
Colin’s vast planning experience, passion for the local area and ongoing
communication with clients and organizations helps ensure the development of
strong, viable communities and a more personalized approach to the planning
industry.
